About us

Humm-Busters Ltd is a small family-run business, now based in Shropshire, England.

Previously we lived in France for four years which is where we encountered the joys of living with a fosse-septique. We learnt first hand about "the regulations" and were amazed to find that a modern, fully-compliant system could be so tempremental and downright smelly.

Having found a solution to our own problems we realised that there must be thousands of other fellow sufferers who would be interested in this solution, and so we founded Humm-Busters to introduce the product to a wider audience.Since then we have taken on a small number of complimentary plumbing-related products.

We do sell to the trade, but our main focus is on Property Owners trying to resolve an unsavoury drainage problem for themselves.

When confronted with these nasty niffs, we found that our builder/plumber was usually in denial, refusing to recognise that a pong equals a problem. "There's nothing wrong with it! Anyway, it must be OK it's been signed off by SPANC".

Having to resort to finding a solution for ourselves, matters were further complicated by our own lack of knowledge on the subject, and our poor language skills.

What we try to do on this website is to provide enough knowledge of the subject, and the available solutions, to allow an average DIY'er to solve the problem directly, for themselves.

We sell only via our website and provide a fast delivery service to anywhere in the EU.
